How many games does your team play per season?
At the age of twelve, my team played over 80 games in the season. We traveled all the way from California to Louisiana and even Canada. I can’t believe the amount of money the parents on our team spent taking us all over North America. Reflecting back on it, I lived and breathed soccer for 9/12 months of the year, and this was one of the most fun seasons of my youth.
Along these lines, I would like to know what level and age group you coach, and about how many games your team plays per year, including how many of these games are league and how many are tournaments. If you don’t coach, how many teams does your child’s team play in an average season?

My U9 girls teams play 20-25 games per season. That is an 8 game regular season, about 4
tournaments, and 3-6 friendly matches. I believe the game is the best teacher and they
played that much when I started them at U8.
